Slide 1: God's Model of the Heart
The Bible describes "man" as a person—a unique spirit being who has a physical body and a spiritual heart. The spiritual heart is comprised of personhood, soul, and spirit. At the time of a person's conception, unique personhood is created by God in His image, and is enjoined with a procreated organism with Adamic human nature—soul, spirit, life, and body. God-created personhood gives certain godly features to soul and spirit, and Adamic soul and spirit corrupt personhood, as a consequence of the inherited original sin of Adam. The result is a human being, created in the image of God and also procreated in the likeness of Adam.
